Old Oakville
From the 16 Mile Creek to Chartwell Road. The historic part of Oakville includes the Oakville Harbour and the Lakeshore Road retail area from Navy Street to Allan Street.
Eastlake
From Chartwell Road to Winston Churchill Boulevard including the Morrison and Ford areas of Oakville. Old Oakville and Eastlake are collectively referred to as "Southeast Oakville". A mixture of large estate homes, private residential enclaves and pleasant neighbourhoods with detached homes.
Clearview
Ford Drive to Winston Churchill Boulevard and north of Royal Windsor Drive. One of the newer residential areas of Oakville with detached homes and townhouses.
Central Oakville
Just west of the Oakville Harbour to Dorval Drive. Includes the Kerr Street shopping area.
Southwest Oakville
From Dorval Drive to the Third Line and south of Rebecca Street. Includes Appleby College and Coronation Park.
West Oakville
Dorval Drive to Bronte Road and north of Rebecca Street to Speers Road.
Bronte
From the Third Line west to Burloak Drive and south of Rebecca Street. Includes the Bronte Harbour boating complex and the Shell Park activity fields. A combination of older cottage homes from the 19th and early 20th centuries and newer homes and townhouses.
Iroquois Ridge
From Trafalgar Road to the Ninth Line and north of the Queen Elizabeth Way including the Falgarwood, Wedgewood Creek and Joshua Creek areas of Oakville. A combination of older, established neighbourhoods and new housing areas closer to Dundas Street (Highway 5).
River Oaks
From Trafalgar Road to the Sixteen Mile Creek and North of Upper Middle Road to Dundas Street. The Uptown Core shopping area and the newer apartment, townhouse and detached homes are a part of this area.
College Park
Trafalgar Road to the 16 Mile Creek from the Queen Elizabeth Way to Upper Middle Road. The Trafalgar Campus of Sheridan Institute is a prominent part of this area of Oakville.
Glen Abbey
From the 16 Mile Creek west to Bronte Road between the Queen Elizabeth Way and Upper Middle Road. A prominent part of this area is the Glen Abbey Golf Club which has hosted the Canadian Open and the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum.
West Oak Trails
From the 16 Mile Creek to Bronte Road and north of Upper Middle Road to Dundas Street including the West Mount and West Oak Trails areas of Oakville.
Bronte Creek
One of the newest areas in Oakville west of Bronte Road to Dundas Street. Single family homes and townhouses.
